Greetings, all! It’s time for another Thursday update

FREE SCHOLARSHIP for youth development training!

Dear Citywide Members & Partners,

I am excited that CWYC will provide ONE FREE SCHOLARSHIP to a direct youth worker to attend the 30-hour Advancing Youth Development Course.

Please send an email to me with your name/the name of your staff member(s) who are interested by Friday, April 27.

We will conduct a random drawing on Monday & notify everybody about the winner.

This is a *GREAT* course – participants have called it “eye-opening,” “life changing,” “the foundation on which I do my work with young people.”

Our April meeting is shaping up to be a great opportunity to de-stress and recharge! While the kids enjoy their school vacation week, we will take some time out for a Yoga and Wellness session – so please plan to join us!

At our monthly Coalition meeting on 2/15/12 we heard a presentation by Laura McCargar on her work investigating the School to Prison Pipeline in Connecticut.
